Product Description
In January 2003, Jaacob Bowden was an average length hitting 14-handicap golfer who uprooted his life as a computer engineer in Kansas to move to California to pursue a career as a Professional Golfer.
Within a matter of months of full-time training, Jaacob won the televised Pinnacle Distance Challenge in July 2003 with a 381-yard drive. He has since gone on to play in and make cuts in numerous Professional tournaments around the world with scores in the 60s and 70s.
During the course of his journey, Jaacob studied and tried many different golf techniques and training programs. Whenever he felt that he learned something valuable, he would often jot it down on his scorecard or a piece of scratch paper.
This e-book is a collection of 100 of those little lessons that Jaacob has pulled out of his archives to share with you. Included are tips on course etiquette, technique, equipment, and other miscellaneous topics that can help you get more out of your game and have fun along the way. Some may seem simple and straightforward, but oftentimes those are the things that matter and need to be remembered the most, whether you are a Pro or amateur.
Jaacob considered organizing the tips by commonly used categories like the full swing, pitching, chipping, course management, etc. However, in the end he put them in random order because he liked the uncertainty of what he would read next.
He hopes you enjoy the format, that you can find all or some of them useful, and he wishes you the best of luck.

100 Golf Lessons That I Learned in My Journey From 14 Handicapper to Professional Golfer Reviews
This review is from: 100 Golf Lessons That I Learned in My Journey From 14 Handicapper to Professional Golfer (Kindle Edition)
I'm a 1 handicap and I thought this book was a great read, the way it was written gave me the sense of "what's next, better keep reading". I liked how it wasn't just about swing fundamentals but talked about course etiquette, the minds power, different ways to relax during tense situations, etc...There are tips that I will take away with this book that I've never used and some other tips in it that reminded of what I should be doing that I am not.
There were a few tips that probably could have been consolidated into one tip but overall this is a great book with a wealth of information that can be read in a short amount of time and I recommend it to any golfer, beginner to pro.

Considering it's only 99 cents, I didn't expect too much from it. I wouldn't call this a book, more like 100 basic tips. If you read a lot or play a lot, much of this is rather basic. There is some good information in this file, but mostly it's pretty basic. I would recommend this for the novice golfer, but not the experienced or golf fanatic.

This is a book that you can keep around and re-read. The tips in the book are excellent for any level golfer - especially with a variety of tips from swing fundamentals to mental exercises to equipment advice. Being successful at golf is all about experience, so being able to get a taste of that experience from a book is invaluable. It is always helpful to learn how other people deal with situations.
I keep a notebook in my golf bag of swing thoughts, mental notes, pre-round relaxation notes and whatever else helps me get prepared to play competitively. I found myself scratching out some of my notes and replacing them with some of the lessons from this book.
